The Lost Boy Cave

A place you can go

The only time

When the tide is low

A place of mystery and wonder

A place to explore, to ponder

The Lost Boy Cave

I enter to find

The one thing

I cannot leave behind

I search and search

But alas

It's not here!

The silver box after years

Has finally disappeared

As I look with wonder

All around the cave

The pools of water splash stars

Beautiful starfish pose on rocks

All made from the ocean waves

I gaze at it all with wonderment

A fairyland,

In another world I am,

In astonishment

The Beauty in the cave

Is something I hold dear,

A treasure, not told,

Only I have here
